2.18 a.m. I can’t sleep. I know I’ve written before that I have some sleeping problems. But yesterday I slept like a log from 12 to 8 am…I don’t know why the same isn’t happening tonight. And my heart’s beating so fast, I can hear it. Hmm. Must try some relaxing techniques.
Reader’s Digest - I listen to them waay too much - says in the Jan issue, to do something relaxing. But what relaxing activity can someone find at 2 am.
lol. Well THAT certainly isn’t relaxing. And I can’t watch tv. Music - I’m sick of my collection - it’s poison to my ears.
I have downloaded a new song - Suddenly I See by KT Tunstall. It’s a positive pop-rock-ish thing that was on the sound track of Blind Dating and featured in a couple of tv shows. I watched it this morning on Zee Studios. Blind Dating, I mean.
I don’t know why but today I kept thinking about how many people in my class had dual passports or a visa that allowed them to reside in two countries at once. It’s not unusual in a selective English medium school to be surrounded by friends born in America, Canada, UK, Australia other ‘developed’ countries of the world. Yet, they’re essentially Bengali, Bangladeshi. Yes, you do sometimes get the too-cool-for-Bangladesh attitude but you won’t come across shitty attitude like that very often. Many teenagers are actually very patriotic, though their parents though t in advance to give them a shot at life abroad. Hence their dual passports….
