Last night it rained crazy. Lucky for Eid celebrations that it didn’t on Sunday morning. The skies darkened a bit around seven, but by the time people were on the streets, it was bright and sunny. Can’t say the same about today though..it’s one of those stereotypical rainy days. :)

The Grameenphone advertisement on Radio Foorti pissed me off kalke. Mostly because they extended the period for registrations to December. Goes on to show how useless doing things on time is here. You wait in line, stand for hours and they still deny you the pleasure of laughing at someone because their lines got canceled because they didn’t re-register. Bummer.

I also talked with my sister a night back. It’s a little difficult to talk to someone who’s now living a thousand or more miles away. Especially there isn’t much we can both relate to…so we end up talking about what we ought to be talking about not what we want to. When I hang up, I feel like it’s another chance gone to say what I really wanted to say.
